His practice focuses on advanced joint replacement techniques, including muscle-sparing direct anterior hip replacement and complex revision hip replacement.
Dr. Swope completed fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, with advanced training in primary and complex revision hip and knee replacement.

Insurance
We are out of network with all insurance carriers by design so we can place patient care first. For surgeries performed at a hospital or accredited surgical center, federal law requires insurance companies to apply the same deductible and cost-sharing structure that would apply in-network when you have out-of-network benefits.

For office visits and in-office procedures, we provide transparent cash pricing. In many cases, our direct-pay fees are significantly less expensive than going through insurance, allowing patients to receive high-quality personalized care without large hospital charges, safely performed in our office.

If surgery is necessary and performed at an in-network surgical center in Kansas, it is paid at in-network levels as required by federal law (No Surprises Act). Deductibles and copays apply, as they would with any network physician.
Initial visit fees are typically $250.00. HSA and FSA funds are accepted.
